Lola and I went to a postpartum support group tonight, and she was being very fussy and didn't want to take a bottle. I knew Cheryl, a local doula, had cross-nursed other babies before, so I asked her to nurse Lola.
She said, "Yes."
She was content the rest of the night.
And one for the road. :)

ReplyDeleteAwww! I wonder if when Aubrie is ready to wean if I could recruit other babies to nurse?! LOL I LOVE nursing! I would nurse other people's babies.
ReplyDeleteI have thought about cross nursing other babies but honestly don't even know where to start. It's not like I want to be all, "Hey, want me to nurse your baby?"....even though that's kind of what I'm thinking in my head. <3
ReplyDeleteI AM SO HAPPY FOR LOLA! :)
ReplyDeleteHey my love, have you thought about being a Lactation Consultant?! Because I think you should be one!!!!!!!!
I have thought about it, and I want to become one!
ReplyDeleteHi to all,
ReplyDeleteI am actually a cross nursing mom, and I have already cross nursed many babies including that of my brother's children (all are boys) and I am currently breastfeeding my 3rd and 4th children both are boys
KR
I so want to do this! (but am afraid others will think I'm weird because I love nursing. I love holding a baby and nursing. Sadly I usually have a low milk supply problem and....it makes me so sad...)
